In Judaism, an unmarried individual is supposed to be imperfect. The customs in this religion have their own characteristic features. The ceremony consists of two main parts namely the betrothal and the actual. Most of the rites of Judaism are performed on Tuesday. The kiddushin or engagement is a custom in which prospective bride and groom make a promise to get married. The kiddushin ceremony brings a change in conjugal status of bride and groom. But it is the nissu'in or the actual marriage that brings a legal change.
